HEC Arena - Dressage

This is the international arena at Haylebrooke Equestrian Centre.

The outer school is 65x90m, and when set up for dressage it can contain two arenas defined by white dressage fences that are 20x60m in size. The arenas are lined with large plant pots that contain little conifer shrubs that taper off at the top. The pots are easily portable, and usually someone brings them out and collects them on the back of a pickup truck.

The arena itself has seating for 2,000 people, 3 rows deep on each side with a 1 metre walkway at the bottom of the seating. There is a white panel fence in front of the seating that has hooks on it for wooden or canvas sponsor banners. The seating is covered by the roof, but there arena is uncovered. There is a protective tarpaulin that can be pulled out over the arena surface when it's not in use.

A commentators box is built into the stand on the left, underneath the shelter. For the dressage setup, you can see the judges tables at one end of the individual arenas. The entrances to the arenas are at the other end.
