So this week is fibromyalgia awareness week. No doubt most of you don't even know what fibromyalgia is. No doubt most of you don't know that in a month I could be diagnosed with it. Go to this news article to read a bit more about it [link]

It really is something most people don't know about. I didn't know about it until a few weeks ago when my therapist said "I want to test you for fibromyalgia when you next come". I have all the symptoms of it, and when I go again he's going to test the points of the body that can give a good idea if someone has fibro.

I'm not scared about it. If I have it, then I have it. I'll live through it and try to get on with my life as normal. If it gets worse, then I'll just plough on straight through. If I have it, we think the cause of it could be all the riding accidents I had and all the years of hurting myself as a child (I was particularly clumsy). Of course, I'm hoping I don't have it, but everything I've been tested so far has been negative, so we're running out of things it could be. Fibromyalgia looks very likely.

So yeah... I want to use the avatar they've made for dA, but it won't work for some reason x.x I'll keep trying. You should all go have a little read of that article and learn a bit more about this terrible condition.

The winner for each stallion will get a picture of their winning mare with my stallion and, if you want them to breed, the foal they produce. So I did so, and you can see them below. Feel free to download and customise them, but do NOT use them for your own personal use. These linearts are for my competition entrants ONLY.

Well, this weekend I'm going to go see them again, and I'm gonna get some BETTER photos. It's going to be awesome, for sure. I was just wondering if any of y'all who are not innocent have any odd fetishes or turn ons you don't have to say what they are, just a yes or a no. I was only asking because I have one or two xD or five lmao. But I digress.

Have you noticed that on dA there's three types of thumbnail that make you want to take a closer look, that get the artwork a lot of pageviews. The first are, of course, the thumbnails that show a small version of a wonderful image, the sort where you want to see more details, you want to see every bit. The second are the ones that you can't quite make out and you need to take a closer look to actually see what it is - this can often prove to be something not so brilliant. The third are the mature content thumbs that entice you to go to the page so you can see what the image actually is. It's funny, these images always seem to get the most pageviews. Which is unfortunate for me because my images are so simple and clean you can see them from the thumbnail, so people don't have to go to the page.

I just thought I'd mention this because I was browsing art on here and I did find that I followed this literal "rule of thumb". If the thumbnail looks detailed, or I can't tell what it is, or it's mature, I have to look. It is quite odd. Why not give the other images a closer look too? I guess we just think we've seen enough from the tiny snapshot.

Oh, another thumbnail that gets attention, the "download to view" ones. But they're generally for flash files and I'm talking about images here

But yeah... just something random for you to ponder.

I really believe these people deserve some more recognition simply because I have been watching them for a long time and their work really inspires me. They may not be the best artists, but they try, and that's what matters.

- Not the best artist, but certainly one that tries hard and is improving at a very fast rate. Certainly someone to look out for in the future

- Someone I have been watching for a long time. His work is just amazing, his 3D renders look so precise and perfect.

- I really feel that this person certainly doesn't get enough recognition. His photos are beautiful and awe-inspiring, but he still does not get the recognition he deserves.

- She may get a bit more recognition than other people on this list, but I still feel that she deserves a lot more. Her work is amazing - if a bit obsessive xD

- I know he already has a lot of pageviews, but I still think he deserves a lot more. The detail and thought that go into is 3D renders is just amazing <3 I love looking at his stuff.
